Author Guidelines

Tamil language remains unique as the first language in the world, the oldest language and the classical language. With such a prestige and pride, Tamil has been remaining independent crossing many centuries. It has a high repository of grammar and literature writings. ‘Agathiyam’, ‘Tholkappiam’, ‘Irayanaar Kalaviyal Urai’, ‘Veerasozhiyam’ etc. are examples for grammar writings in Tamil. Similarly Tamil literature is incredibly rich with classical literature, epics, modern literature, etc. We are very much honoured to have such a wealthy language with enormous literary works. It is the duty of the researchers and scholars to disseminate the pride of Tamil literature and the grammar works in it to the society. To flag it in the mast, “Pulam” research journal feels elated in remaining a bridge to take up the task of bringing out the literary outputs of the Tamil scholars and researchers to the enliven society. “Pulam” requests all the highly learned Tamil scholars to publish their research works in it and pave way for upholding the uniqueness of Tamil literature in the world.

Guidelines

• ‘Pulam’ international research journal emerges as a non- profitable quarterly journal in April 2021 to encourage research in Tamil.
• Professors, teachers, scholars and students of colleges and universities shall publish their research works in ‘Pulam’ E- journal.
• Research works can be on any specialization or any interdisciplinary topic.
• Works for reference must be properly cited.
• Research works for publication must be error- free in terms of spellings, sentences, grammar and content.
• Abstract of the research must be both in Tamil and English. ‘Key Words’ should be present.
• Research articles must be typed in ‘Unicode’ font style with ‘12’ font size, and 1.5” line spacing and the articles must be between 8 and 12 pages which can be uploaded on https://pulamejournal.com/index.php/journal/index
• Research articles must be drafted based on the guidelines and the selected articles will be published in the specified quarterly journal.
• The editorial board has the rights to edit the research writings and also reject any article, if it is not upto the standard.
• Research articles which are already published in any book, journal, or conference proceedings should not be sent for publishing.
• Researchers must bear in mind that your work of research must bring out the richness of Tamil grammar and literature.
• Certificates for the published works in ‘Pulam’ journal will be sent to the mail.
• ‘Pulam’ research will publish only standard research articles.
• No charges are taken for publishing and downloading articles in Pulam : International Journal of Tamilology Studies

உலகின் முதல் மொழி, மூத்த மொழி, தன்னிகரில்லாத மொழி, செம்மொழி எனப் பல பெருமைகளைத் தன்னகத்தே கொண்ட மொழி நம் தமிழ்மொழி. இத்தகைய தமிழ் மொழி பல ஆண்டுகளைக் கடந்து இன்றும் இயங்கி வரும் உயர்தனிச் செம்மொழியாக உள்ளது.

இம்மொழியில் இலக்கிய, இலக்கணக் கருவூலங்கள் எண்ணில் அடங்காதவை. அகத்தியம், தொல்காப்பியம், இறையனார் களவியல் உரை, வீரசோழியம், நன்னூல் போன்ற இலக்கண நூல்களும் சங்க இலக்கியங்கள், சங்கம் மருவிய இலக்கியங்கள், பக்தி இலக்கியங்கள், காப்பியங்கள், சிற்றிலக்கியங்கள், சித்தர் இலக்கியங்கள், இக்கால இலக்கியங்கள், தனிப்பாடல் திரட்டு என்ற இலக்கிய வகைகளும் தமிழ்மொழியின் தனிச் சிறப்பிற்குச் சான்று பகர்ந்து நிற்கின்றன.

இத்தகைய தமிழ் இலக்கண, இலக்கியங்களில் நிறைந்து சிறக்கின்ற கருத்துக்களை ஆய்ந்து இக்காலத் தமிழ்ச் சமூகத்திற்கும் இலக்கியச் சமூகத்திற்கும் எடுத்துரைப்பது ஆய்வாளர்களின் கடமையாக உள்ளது. அந்த வகையில் "புலம்" ஆய்விதழ் தங்களது சிறந்த ஆய்வு அறிவை இலக்கிய உலகிற்குக் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் பாலமாக இயங்குகிறது. ஆய்வாளர்கள் ஆய்வுக்கட்டுரைகளைப் புலம் இதழில் வெளியிட்டுத் தமிழ் கூறும் நல்லுலகிற்கு நம் மொழியின் சிறப்பினைக் கொண்டு சேர்க்க வேண்டுகின்றோம்.

வழிகாட்டல்

• புலம் பன்னாட்டு ஆய்விதழ் இலாப நோக்கின்றித் தமிழியல் ஆய்வை ஊக்குவிக்கும் முகமாக 2021 ஏப்ரல் முதல் காலாண்டு இதழாக வெளிவருகின்றது.
• புலம் பன்னாட்டுத் தமிழாய்வு மின்னிதழிற்கு கல்லூரி, பல்கலைக்கழகப் பேராசிரியர்கள், ஆய்வு மாணவர்கள், இலக்கிய ஆர்வலர்கள் கட்டுரைகள் எழுதி அனுப்பலாம்.
• ஆய்வுக்கட்டுரையானது ஏதேனும் ஒரு துறை சார்ந்தோ (அ) துறையிடை ஆய்வாகவோ அமைந்திருக்கலாம்.
• அடிக்குறிப்புகள், ஆய்வுக்குத் துணைநின்ற நூல்களின் பட்டியல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.
• ஆய்வுக்கட்டுரைகள் இலக்கண வழுவின்றி செம்மையான முறையில் அமைந்திருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
• ஆய்வுக்கட்டுரைகளின் ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம் தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் அமைதல் வேண்டும். கட்டுரையைக் கண்டறிவதற்கு ஏதுவாக திறவுச் சொற்கள் (Key Words) இடம் பெறுதல் வேண்டும்.
• கட்டுரைகள் யுனிக்கோடு எழுத்துருவில் 1.5 இடைவெளியில் 12 எழுத்தளவில் எட்டு முதல் பன்னிரண்டு பக்கங்களுக்கு மிகாமல் தட்டச்சு செய்து https://pulamejournal.com/index.php/journal/index என்ற இவ்விணைய தளத்தில் உங்களுக்கான உபயோகிப்பாளர் அடையாளத்தை உருவாக்கி அதில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளவாறு பதிவேற்றம் செய்தல் வேண்டும்.
• கட்டுரைகளை ஆய்வு நெறிமுறைகளின்படி எழுதி அனுப்ப வேண்டும். தெரிவு செய்யப்படும் கட்டுரைகள் குறிப்பிட்ட காலாண்டு இதழில் வெளியிடப்படும்.
• ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் தக்க சான்றுகளுடன் நிறுவப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.
• ஏற்கனவே வேறு ஏதேனும் இதழ்களிலோ, கருத்தரங்குகளிலோ அல்லது புத்தகங்களிலோ வெளியிடப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகளை அனுப்புதல் கூடாது.
• மொழிப்பற்று, இலக்கண இலக்கியச் செழுமை ஆகியவற்றைப் பேணிக் காப்பது நம் அனைவரின் கடமை. ஆகவே கட்டுரையாளர்கள் இதனைக் கருத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
• கட்டுரைகளில் தேவையான மாற்றங்களைச் செய்யவும் நிராகரிக்கவும் ஆசிரியர் குழுவிற்கு முழு உரிமை உண்டு.
• புலம் இதழில் கட்டுரை வெளியிடப்பட்ட பின் அதற்கான சான்றிதழ் மின்னஞ்சலில் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்படும்.
• தரமான ஆய்வுக்கட்டுரைகளை மட்டுமே புலம் இதழ் வெளியிடும்.
• புலம் : பன்னாட்டுத் தமிழியல் ஆய்விதழில் கட்டுரைகளை வெளியிடவும் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து கொள்ளவும் எந்த விதமானக் கட்டணங்களும் பெறப்படுவதில்லை.
