Abstract

In today's post-colonial context, despite the voices of rebellion against authority, identifying and breaking down the paradigms of authority remains a major challenge. In a society entangled in caste, religion, ethnicity and language fundamentalism, the act of boasting about being a slave has grown. Caste has evolved over time. It continues the tradition of always practicing the divisive maneuver. This traditional cultural base fosters a group mentality and constructs a politics of hatred towards marginalization. The dominant society operates with a strong focus on an ideology that is neutral. Human emotions have no place in this movement. Caste tradition divides the human body into a socially conforming body and a non-conformist body within the caste identity. This article explores through 'Pookkuzhi' innovation that the body is destroyed when it joins.

இன்றைய பின்காலனியச் சூழலில் அதிகாரத்திற்கு எதிரான கலகக் குரல்கள் எழுப்பப்பட்டு வந்தாலும் அதிகாரக் கருத்துருவ வடிவங்களை அடையாளங்கண்டு உடைப்பது பெரும் சவாலான ஒன்றாக உள்ளது. சாதி, மத, இன, மொழி அடிப்படைவாத சிக்கலுக்குள் சிக்குண்ட சமூகத்தில் அடிமை என்பதையே தற்பெருமையாய் பறைசாற்றிக்கொள்ளும் செயல்பாடு வளர்ந்துள்ளது. சாதி என்பது காலகட்டத்திற்கு ஏற்ப பரிணாமமடைந்துள்ளது. அது எப்பொழுதும் பிரித்தாளும் சூழ்ச்சியை நடைமுறைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டே இருக்கும் மரபாகத் தொடர்கிறது. இந்த மரபு பண்பாட்டுத் தளத்தில் குழு ஆதிக்க மனப்பான்மையை வளர்த்தெடுத்து விளிம்புநிலை மீது வெறுப்பு அரசியலைக் கட்டமைத்து வருகிறது. பருண்மையில்லாத ஒரு கருத்தியல் மீது ஆதிக்கச் சமூகம் அதிக கவனம் கொண்டு இயங்குகிறது. இந்த இயக்கத்தில் மனித உணர்வுகளுக்கு இடம் இல்லை. சாதிய மரபு மனித உடலை சாதிய அடையாளத்திற்குள் இருத்தி சமூகத்திற்கு ஒத்துப்போகும் உடல், ஒவ்வாத உடல் என்று பிரித்து வைத்துள்ளது. இது இணையும் நிலையில் ஒவ்வாத உடல் அழித்தொழிக்கப்படுகிறது என்பதை ‘பூக்குழி’ புதினம் வழி இக்கட்டுரை ஆராய்கிறது.
