உன்னைப்போல பிறனையும் நேசிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற அன்பின் கோட்பாடுதான் பரிசுத்த வேதாகமமாகும்.  இப்பிரபஞ்சம் தோன்றியது முதல்  இன்று வரை எத்தனையோ விதமான மாற்றங்களும் தோற்றங்களும் உருவாகியுள்ளன. இதற்குக் காரணம் மக்களின் சிந்தனையில் ஏற்படும் அறிவின் வளர்ச்சியும், அவர்களின் சமுதாயப் பழக்க வழக்கங்களும் ஆகும். இதில், பல உலக நாடுகளுக்கிடையேயான புரட்சிகரமான பல வரலாற்றுச் சம்பவங்களும்; கண்ணுக்குப் புலப்படாத அறிவியல் விந்தைகளும்; நாகரீக வளர்ச்சியில் ஏற்படும் அறிவின் முதிர்ச்சியும்; இயற்கையை மிஞ்சிய அநேக விதமான அற்புதங்களும் அதிசயங்களும் நடந்து கொண்டே இருக்கின்றன. மனித நாகரிக வளர்ச்சியின் அடிப்படை மாற்றங்கள், மனிதர்களுக்குள்ளான முரண்பாடு, மனிதத் தன்மையிழந்த சமூகம் என அனைத்தும் சமூகத்தில் காணப்படுகின்றன. இவையெல்லாம் எப்பொழுது நடந்தது என்று துல்லியமாகக் கணக்கிட கி.மு. - கி.பி. என்ற இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பை வைத்தே கணக்கிடப்படுகிறது. வரலாற்றைத் தீர்மானித்தல் என்ற அடிப்படையில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வாழ்க்கை உலகத்திற்கான முன்னோடியாகத் திகழ்கிறது. உலக வரலாற்று ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களின் கருத்துப்படி, இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இப்பூவுலகில் மிகவும் புரட்சிகரமான மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளார் என்பது தெளிவாகிறது.
