Abstract

 Bharathiyar was a Tamil poet, journalist, social reformer and Travel writer. He was a pioneer of modern Tamil poetry and is considered one of the greatest Tamil literary figures of all time. He is popularly known as  "Bharathi/ Bharathiyaar," and also by the other title "Mahakavi Bharathi" ("the great poet Bharathi"). His numerous works included Paappa Pattu and Kannan Pattu.  He has published his travel experience in a non fiction titled  ‘ Engal 'Congress Yaththirai' Erodu Yaththirai  and papanasam. This article focusus on the various subtle nuances of bharathiar Yatra, Tamilnadu tours, trails and travelogue in his work.

தமிழ் உரைநடையை வளம் பெறச்செய்தவர்களில்  சுப்ரமணிய பாரதியார் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவர். பாரதியார்,  கவிஞர்  என்பதைக் கடந்து  உரைநடை இலக்கியத்திலும் தனது முத்திரையைப் பதித்தவர்.  பாரதியின்  உரைநடையில்  அடிப்படைக்  கருத்துடன்  அங்கதமும்  இழைந்தோடும்.  எளிய மக்களின் வாழ்க்கைச் சித்திரங்களும், தேச விடுதலையும், தமிழ்,  மீதான  காதலும்  எளிமையாகவும்   இயல்பாகவும்  சித்திரிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். பாரதியாரின்  உரைநடை இலக்கிய வகைகளில் ஒன்றான பயண இலக்கியத்தை அவரது சமகாலப் படைப்பாளிகளை விட  சிறப்பாகக் கையாண்டுள்ளார்.  தமது  ஈரோட்டுப் பயண அனுபவங்களை ‘என் ஈரோட்டு  யாத்திரை’ என்ற பெயரிலும்   பாபநாசம் சென்று வந்த தனது பயண அனுபவங்களை பாபநாசம் என்ற தலைப்பிலும்  சுதேசமித்திரன் இதழில் கட்டுரைகளாக எழுதியுள்ளார்.
