Every human being keeps moving from one place to the other during his lifetime which is known as travel. Travelling is not only a pleasant and an interesting experience, but it also exposes one to the lifestyle, habitation, food habits, climatic conditions, rituals and festivals of places being visited. Tourism, journey, travel, pilgrimage, excursion, voyage, and wayside expenses are some of the terminologies related to travel. Travelling is also an art without which human beings may not have attempted to step on the moon. The short stories of Ambai records such achievements in plenty.
